Thoughts on show
Firstly, the acting is superb, as expected from two very experienced actors and they are on stage with little (nothing) in the way of a set so nowhere to hide. You are advised to check out the play before going, otherwise I think you may lost from the start. It jumps across differing time lines throughout the play (there is no interval and it only last 85 mins) but it keeps you interested with clever dialogue and the strange concept of the play. I sat in the dress circle which, although sold with a warning of limited views, was great and I didn't miss anything...and thankful for this as Aiden Turner was a big draw for me (and, from what I heard around me, for many others) I came away thinking and wondering "what if" which I guess is a good thing for a play to make me do! The theatre was packed and, from the applause at the end, I would say it was very well received by today's matinee audience.
Thoughts on venue
Small theatre, never been before, didn't go into the bar so cannot commment.
Thoughts on seat
E16, great views, single column did not affect the view of the stage and I missed nothing with this particular play.
