Emperor's New Clothes. I think the cast may have changed: the acting was very uneven. Less interesting than I, Joan, and for 5 times the price. Very poor value, very overrated. It was generally a relief when the cabaret ended (is pretending to pull items from someone's rear end really that amusing??). Gender fluidity is not a substitute for good acting, wit and genuine invention. Avoid.
Thoughts on venue
The back of house staff were very officious, shouting at one man to stop texting during the interval while shining a torch at him, all from 100 feet away.
