Nathuram Godse. Not a household name, but could be useful in a game show. He murdered Gandhi.

This is his story. Indhu Rubsingham directs a revival of this play by Anupama Chandrasekhar, seen at this theatre in summer 2022.

(from the 2022 production) (some actors have left the cast)
Not available. Professional reviewers agree that this is another epic use of the Olivier stage with a cast of 19. They also agree that this is the right place to tell the story and that Shubham Saraf as Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse gives an excellent performance.

The problem all have is that Anupama Chandrasekhar's tale feels at times more like a lesson than a deeper examination of Godse's motives. The main revelation is how Godse was raised female to avoid a family curse, but there is as one reviewer put it, little to suggest inexorable collision.

An important evening but mostly a 3 star one, seems to be the professional opinion.
