Sister Rosetta Tharpe plays a mean electric guitar. Gospel is her thing, but she loves nightclub rhythm and blues. This is 1946 Mississippi, and that isn’t right…

Teaming up with singer Marie Knight, together they change the face of music, influencing everybody from Johnny Cash to Elvis Presley himself.

This is their story, told with live music rock and gospel songs.
