Emperor’s New Clothes. I think the cast may have changed: the acting was very uneven. Less interesting than I, Joan, and for 5 times the price. Very poor value, very overrated. It was generally a relief when the cabaret ended (is pretending to pull items from someone’s rear end really that amusing??). Gender fluidity is not a substitute for good acting, wit and genuine invention. Avoid.
