Now the National Theatre is saying it is worthwhile. They have been doing it for a while and think it makes theatre "accessible." Seriously? It means that if you don't book months ahead you may pay more - and if you do book months ahead and it is a disaster, you feel like you have grossly overpaid and been ripped off.
Go back to normal pricing with proper day seats you buy in person. That's more accessible, I think.
