"Lazy and Stereotypical of Black people, White-centric" rants one reviewer. The rest are unanimous that this is deeply moving and its sweeping story is - bar the odd lull, never less than engrossing. There's praise for Shiloh Coke, Gershwyn Eustace Jnr and Leah Harvey in particular from all quarters, and the projections and direction are considered some of the best of the National's work in recent times. 5 stars from most, a "must see" apparently.
