Theatre Closures Update / Refund Information.


AS AT 4.15pm ON 27th October 2020.

General

All Indoor West End Theatres are closed, with the exception of a few experimental attempts by venues including the National, Bridge, and theatres owned by Nimax.

Specific

"All Ambassador Theatre Group venues will remain closed until at least 17th January 2021.

"A Christmas Carol" at the Old Vic Theatre will now be performed online only. Ticket holders have been contacted.

"The Mousetrap" has suspended its intention to re-open in October 2020, and will announce a new schedule later in the year. Ticket holders should contact their point-of-sale for advice.

"Good" at the Playhouse Theatre will now run from 21st April until 7th July 2021 at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Existing ticket holders have been contacted, and public booking will open in late October 2020.

"The Ocean at the End of the Lane" at the Duke of York's Theatre will now run from 23rd October 2021 until 4th February 2022. Existing ticket holders have been contacted, and public booking opens soon.

"The Drifters Girl" at the Garrick Theatre will now open in November 2021. Ticket holders have been moved automatically to corresponding points in the run next year.

"Harry Potter and The Cursed Child" at the Palace Theatre has cancelled all performances until 21st February 2021.

"The Book of Mormon" at the Prince of Wales Theatre has cancelled all performances until 2nd January 2021.

"Frozen The Musical" at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane will now run from April 2021. Ticket holders have been moved automatically to corresponding points in the run next year.

"The Prince of Egypt" at the Dominion Theatre has cancelled all performances until further notice.

"Cinderella" will now run from March 2021 at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Ticket holders have been moved automatically to corresponding points in the run next year.

"The Book of Dust – La Belle Sauvage" at the Bridge Theatre is postponed from July 2020 until an unspecified future date.

"Small Island" at the Olivier Theatre is postponed from October 2020 until an unspecified future date.

"The Pillowman" at the Duke of York's Theatre is postponed from July 2020 until an unspecified future date.

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will now run from 1st July until 5th September 2021 at the London Palladium. Ticket holders have been moved automatically to the equivalent date next year.

"Hello Dolly" at the Adelphi Theatre in August 2020 has been cancelled. Ticket holders have been contacted regarding refunds.

"Force Majeure" at the Donmar Warehouse is postponed from July 2020 until an unspecified future date.

"The Seagull" and "A Doll's House" at the Playhouse Theatre are postponed until a future date.

"The Doctor" at the Duke of York's Theatre is to be rescheduled to a later period. Ticket holders will be advised soon of new dates.

"Life Of Pi" at Wyndham's Theatre is to be rescheduled to a later period. Ticket holders will be advised soon of new dates.

"Sister Act" at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith has been postponed to run from 20th July until 29th August 2021. All tickets remain valid for the new dates.

The Old Vic Theatre has postponed "Local Hero" from June 2020 to an unspecified future date.

"To Kill A Mockingbird" at the Gielgud Theatre has been rescheduled to April 2021. Ticket holders have been contacted and moved directly to new dates.

"Leopoldstadt" at Wyndham's Theatre is to be rescheduled to a later period. Ticket holders will be advised soon of new dates.

The Royal Albert Hall is closed until further notice.
