Seats in RED are coloured to draw attention. Not necessarily to be avoided - maybe nothing specific is wrong with them, other than opinions that there are better seats at the same price. Stalls rows A to C are not suitable for those under 5ft 9 or so tall, and anyone wanting to see more of the stage.

The Dress Circle is called the "ROYAL CIRCLE" in this theatre.

Notes: (1) The "red" rating of the Dress Circle is due to legroom issues for those over around 5ft 7 tall. The actual view is excellent from most seats. (2) Due to the staging of "The Sound of Music," those in the side blocks of rows A to D in the stalls may find actors backs in their way for a few moments of the production, and those in the Upper Circle could miss a few moments of staging on the walkway running around the orchestra pit. (3) Those allergic to streams of make-up bedecked nuns gliding towards them should avoid all central aisle seats in the stalls... For more details of the seating issues click here.
